Abstract
Purpose: To examine the effects of the visual function training based on software for saccadic eye movement and low vision quality of life for individuals with glaucoma in Korea.

Methods: One group pretest-posttest design for ten individuals with glaucoma was used to examine the effects using the program selected for visual function program at CoTras, 30¡40 minutes per session, once a week, a total of 4¡6 times. To measure saccadic eye movement and quality of life, participants were assessed for K-D test and Low Vision Quality of Life Questionnaire(LVQOL).

Result: An analysis of the data showed that the participants¡¯ saccadic eye movement increased compared to their pre-training scores(p < .05), although a comparison of their quality of life ADL function pre-training and post-training showed no change(p =.197).

Conclusion: These findings suggest that visual function training based on software is an effective intervention method for improvement in saccadic eye movement of individuals with glaucoma.
